Water-based Enrichment

Water sports enrichment and swimming play a valuable role in the holistic development and well-being of students, addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs while offering a unique and enjoyable therapeutic experience.

Our water-based enrichment offer ensures we support our pupils to build skills of resilience, work together as a team, build positive relationships and develop positive wellbeing .

We offer a variety of water-based enrichment regularly to all children as part of their universal provision at Cury. Water activities such as sailing, sup boarding, kayaking, cold-water swimming & team-building activities at Trevassack lake, surfing and bodyboarding at the beach, and we also offer regular swimming lessons.

Swimming : All students have regular access to swimming lessons throughout the year at our local leisure centre. This not only offers students a regular swimming lesson with a qualified swimming instructor, but also develops community links within the local area and develops students' independent life skills.
